To Whom It May Concern, The reason for my dispute is CREDIT MANAGEMENT LP # XXXX was required to notify me no later than 30 days after furnishing the negative information to credit bureau reports, in writing ... under such section 623, subsection ( 7 ) ( A ). However, in my records I am unable to locate documentation that they complied with this requirement, which is a violation of the FCRA & FDCPA. Also, CREDIT MANAGEMENT LP failed to give me my " Mini-Miranda '' five days prior to placing this derogatory item is on all of my credit reports, per Section 807 ( 11 ) & FDCPA 809, which is {$1000.00} per violation and the state of OHIO allows treble damages. Under 809. Validations of date and Mini-Mirandi under Section 807 ( 1 ) CREDIT MANAGEMENT LP failed to send me my initial communication before placing this alleged item on my credit reports further violating the FCRA, with {$1000.00} per violation. CREDIT MANAGEMENT LP is held liable as well for defamation and in the state of OHIO a creditor is who collects they are on debt is considered a debt collector under 1319.12 Taking assignment of debts. FDCPA I fail to see where CREDIT MANAGEMENT LP is in compliance with OHIO LAW. I also believe that this business is not registered to operate in the state of OHIO I expect this collection account to be removed from my credit report. CREDIT MANAGEMENT LP. has not even tried to contact me regarding this collection account. Please have them remove this collection account immediately. Thank you!

The FCRA requires that information be reported accurately. Common FCRA violation examples are reporting old debts as new or re-aged and failing to report a debt was discharged in bankruptcy. The consumer has the right to dispute and credit reporting agencies must correct or delete any inaccurate, incomplete or unverifiable information within 30 days of the receiving notice of dispute.

You have 30 days from initial contact to request verification of the debt

The FDCPA gives consumers(debtors) the have the right to request verification of a debt(Also commonly called debt validation). The request must be within 30 days of receiving the debt validation notice from the collector. Once the letter has been received, the collector must stop attempts to collect until it responds to your validation request. To prevent the collector from disputing your request was sent, send it via certified mail with return receipt requested.

Right to dispute debt notice not received

I checked my credit report and there was a debt collection account that showed up that appeared to be a debt that was well over 7 years old. I disputed it with the credit bureaus and it came back as " verified. '' Since I never received notification from this company, I sent them a debt validation letter and dispute letter to the address listed on my credit report. The letter was returned un-deliverable by USPS, it says the building is vacant. So the address listed on the credit report is 100 % inaccurate. How did the credit bureaus " verify '' this account if it's not possible to get hold of them via mail? This company is reporting debt that is over 7 years old, their contact information is not correct on my credit report, so it's impossible for me to reach them to deal with this matter. This is not legal.

This is an attempt to collect repeated overdraft charges made to my account by XXXX for an unauthorized charge. The account was charged four times at {$35.00} each time and the remaining money in the account was taken and the " balance due '' was {$110.00}. At the time, I asked the bank to reverse these charges. They refused and sent it to collections almost immediately.

The XXXX XXXX XXXX debt of {$470.00} is invalid. It should not be collected on my credit reports from the 3 credit reporting agencies ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) which destroy my credit. Contrary to its promise, XXXX XXXX XXXX devices ( for which I already paid $ 1000+ for them ) did not work with XXXX. I asked XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) to help solve the issue, but XXXX XXXX XXXX did not cooperate. XXXX XXXX XXXX provided wrong instruction for unlocking its devices. After I paid off the balance of my phones on XX/XX/2018, XXXX XXXX XXXX told me that the devices would be unlocked and then work for other carriers. I waited a few days and received an email of unlock instruction ( first email of unlock instruction, attached below ). I followed the instruction but without success. The instruction says max 5 tries are allowed before a phone becomes permanently locked to XXXX XXXX XXXX. I suffered a lot. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX customer care. I waited another few days and received another email of unlock instruction instruction ( second email of unlock instruction, attached below ) .which is completely different from the first unlock instruction. I followed it and seems like it was successful. However, when using the phones with XXXX, I never had mobile data connection. I had unlocked other XXXX XXXX XXXX phones in the past and they work well with other carriers -- but only one unlock instruction was received. Therefore, I believe that problems happened somewhere inside XXXX XXXX XXXX which caused my phones does not work with other carriers even if I paid them off. It is illegal for XXXX XXXX XXXX to sell defunct product.
